On Saturday, Nashville’s craft beer lovers came out in droves to try a long list of amazing beers at East Nashville Beer Festival at East Park. Nevermind the overcast skies and freezing temps, we weren’t about to miss Cantillon Kriek, Heaven and Ale’s Barrel Aged Love Supreme and VonSeitz Theoreticales’ Amphora.

In its 8th year, East Nashville Beer Fest brought the heat with over 40 breweries, local food trucks and live music. Rhizome Productions is known for first-class beer events and this one was no exception.

With a great setup that kept lines moving and beer flowing, this event is everything we love about beer. And festivals. Even the port-a-potty count kept us happy that we weren’t in line all day.

Local favorites joined with breweries from around the country to create a diverse offering of styles and flavors. Woodland Wine Merchant’s tent offered European beers that were rare finds, and festival goers took advantage of the opportunity try anything at the WWWWMP? (What Will Woodland Wine Merchant Pour?) tent.

The band stage, sponsored by East Side Smiles was a great draw, with a lineup curated by The Basement East.

Even the bands loved the beer selection.

By the time we left, we had almost forgotten about the cold, but we won’t soon forget the awesomeness of East Nashville Beer Fest.
