Half Batch Brewing, soon to be Hendersonville’s first craft brewery, signed a lease on a property in the Hazel Path Commons shopping center in August. The brewery plans to take possession of the property soon, which is located at 393 East Main Street, Suite 6A.

“We are excited to be in a great location surrounded by several other locally owned businesses,” said founder Nate Newton. “We can’t wait to begin brewing quality locally-produced beer for Hendersonville and the rest of Sumner County.”

Half Batch Brewing expects delivery of a 10 barrel (310 gallon) brewing system from manufacturer Deutsche Beverage Technology in time for a Spring 2017 opening. Their beers will initially be available on draft only, and will be on tap in the Public Room at the brewery, and at restaurants, pubs, and growler filling stations throughout Sumner County.
