Memphis Made Brewing is releasing another year-round beer to add to their collection of cans, while also updating their first regularly-canned offering.

The Midtown brewery is releasing their canned brew called, Junt, a delicately-hopped cream ale made to be easy drinking. They will be released in 12 oz cans throughout Shelby County.

“I know you’re not supposed to have a favorite, but this has been my go to since we released it earlier this year,” Drew Barton, head brewer and president, said.
Memphis Made and designer Weston Notestine also tweaked the look of Fireside, an amber ale first released in cans in late 2017. Why update this popular first offering?

Memphis Made designer, Weston Notestine, fixed up the look for Fireside, their Amber Ale they released late 2017. The reason they updated the popular first canned offering?

“We’re always trying to better ourselves and our products,” Barton explained. “We realized that simply changing the color scheme of the can would make it more visible on store shelves.”

Since the release of Fireside cans, they have brewed and canned many limited-release beers such as: Loving Local Pineapple Wheat, Gonerfest Session IPA, The Kickdown Triple, Slumber Party Imperial Stout, Mr. Anderson Barley Wine, and a lime infused Junt for WEVL’s 20th Blues of the Bluff. With the addition of Fireside and Junt also comes, Cat Nap, a year-round IPA on draft, plus dozens of limited release beers that come out annually.
