The first 50 customers will receive a free malted glass.

Memphis Made Brewing is celebrating its fourth birthday with MALTED, a party focused on malty beers.

This year’s event is Saturday, Nov. 11, and will feature crowd favorites Orange Drewlius and Rosemary Plaid ATTACK!!!, along with a special cask of Slumber Party, the brewery’s first high gravity release from the first of the year.

“I’m excited about the cask, I can’t believe we remembered to forget about until now,” Drew Barton, president and head brewer, said.

Music includes Harlan T. Bobo at 3 p.m., James & the Ultrasounds at 4:30 p.m., and River City Tanlines at 6 p.m. Andrew McCalla and Zac Ives of Goner Records will be spinning records throughout the day as well. Food trucks Yippie Trippie & the Porkstarts and MemPops will be on site all day also.

Since it opened with a handful of accounts in 2013, Memphis Made Brewing has steadily grown and now serves almost 200 accounts throughout Shelby County. The brewery, which self-distributes, started canning its popular Fireside beer, further increasing distribution.

“Memphis has become a better beer city in the past four years and we like to think we’re a part of that growth,” Andy Ashby, sales manager and co-owner of Memphis Made, said. “We focus on beer education, whether it’s our free brewery tours or just getting out and talking to people. We’ve tapped a lot of different beers in our first four years and we’re looking forward to brewing even more for the Memphis market.”
