The Nashville Predators have announced the 2017 Outstanding Nashvillians of the Year was awarded to their very own, President and CEO Sean Henry, Head Coach Peter Laviolette, and General Manager David Poile. They will become the 37th recipients for the Kiwanis Outstanding Nashvilians of the Year award.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by such a wonderful organization filled with so many friends that have done so much for Smashville since this chapter was formed,” Nashville Predators President and CEO Sean Henry said. “The Kiwanis Club’s continued support will continue to propel us even further this season!”
“From the Nashville Predators’ beginning in 1998, to their spectacular run to the 2017 Stanley Cup Final, the team and its leadership have accomplished more than just winning NHL games,” Kiwanis Club Nashville President Elaine Kay said. “The Predators have unified our city with excitement, pride and tradition, while donating $6 million to local charity organizations. Smashville’s leaders: Sean Henry, Peter Laviolette and David Poile are the ideal recipients for our esteemed Outstanding Nashvillians of the Year 2017 Award.”
The Kiwanis Nashvillian of the Year award luncheon held for the Honorees will be September 28th in the Lexus Lounge.
