Oskar Blues Brewery (OBB) and Ball Corporation is in partnership with Can’d Aid Foundation by sending cans of water to support the relief efforts from Hurricane Florence. A total of 22 pallets/52,800 cans were delivered, September 14th, for distibution in Raleigh, North Carolina, by Long Beverage and Farmville, North Carolina, by Coastal Beverage to local organizations and city entities. Can’d Aid & OBB began to produce can water rapidly in response to hearing the pending storm coming towards the Carolina coasts. The Longmont, Colorado, location will pause beer production to continue canning in the facility any additional water to support the ongoing relief efforts.

Can’d Aid, since 2013, has shipped more than 1.25 million cans of water to post-disasters. Programs such as Towns, Tunes, Treads + Trails and Love Yur Mama have spread these efforts nationwide including, over 2,000 bikes have been built for underprivileged youth, 1,000 instruments have been donated, and the equivalent of 33 millions cans recycled.
