While the brewing industry across the country is eagerly anticipating CBC, Nashville breweries are working nonstop to uphold the fine standard of hosting for which the south is so famous. Our great state welcomes beer industry professionals and the innovation that is sure to result from this meeting of the minds.

Middle Tennessee is already seeing an influx of beer in its bottle shops and taprooms, and some truly amazing events are on tap as well. While conference events for industry folks will be a who’s who of brewing, it’s the craft beer lovers of Tennessee who get access to the revelry outside of the convention. Music, incredible food and beer that’s never been in Tennessee before? We may not sleep all week!

Here at Que Media, we have been planning coverage that will keep you in the loop on the hottest tickets in town, and our staff will be all over town bringing you the highlights. Our new Editor-In-Chief, David Wingo is leading the charge on this coverage and his enthusiasm for sharing the incredible stories of the individuals that make up this community are a great addition to our team of local beer loving contributors and staff.

But it’s not just our staff that will be all over town. Our spring “Women In Beer” issue hits newsstands just in time for CBC, and we can’t wait for you to see what we have been working on.

This issue has been a long time in the making, and we are thrilled to feature some of the hardest working and most innovative people in the industry. These women and many more have worked tirelessly to forge relationships and create opportunities for other women in craft beer to grow and thrive. From a new brewery in the works in Sparta to the large-scale operations of an established brewery in Asheville, we found out what women bring to the industry. These women contribute their unique styles to an already diverse landscape.

We hope you enjoy the people, beer and innovation featured in this issue. I am incredibly proud and honored to work with our staff and the entire craft beer industry at such an exciting time.

Good luck with those CBC plans — we’ll see you out there!
